Health Dr Carey Reams What is RBTI

Part of http://www.rbti.info

RBTI stands for "Ream's Biological Theory of Ionization" and is an alternative health, but also a scientific way to test on which path to follow to get back on the road towards health. Founded by the late Carey Reams who devoted most of his life to RBTI. He believed that it was more than powerful enough to prevent most diseases and illnesses. Not by using a complex machine or expensive therapy, but by putting good health within everyone’s reach.

The main problem most encounter in conventional medicine is that doctors try to poison and drug you back to health. And different people with the same condition get the same drugs, despite the differences in body chemistry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. If you are reluctant about taking guesses with something as important as your health, and if you are more interested in having your body heal itself rather than taking drugs, then RBTI may be the thing for you.

One formula
According to Dr. Reams there is a formula for perfect health. He taught that if the ‘soil’ of our body was good, then sickness would not occur.

Main Content 1
One test
He developed a test for determining the quality of the soil and thereby determining the health of an individual. One simple inexpensive test is all it takes.

One goal
Comparing the test results to the ideal values gives a huge clue as to what should be altered in a person's diet to move him closer to perfect health.

We are here to provide a general introduction to RBTI. This site is free and will continue to be for as long as circumstances allow. And let's all hope that it will be a long time!

We recommend starting with The Basics menu. It contains descriptions of all the important test-values and instructions on how to conduct the tests yourself. We also offer some hints as to what supplements we would use if we had certain numbers. But please note that we are not practicing medicine. We merely offer a foundational guide  to the work of Dr. Reams. If you are interested in learning how to take control of your overall health through RBTI, then this is a good start.

Disclamer

There are no cures here

Only the body can heal itself. Medications and supplements may help, but they will not do the healing by themselves.

  • If you have a diagnosed disease, you may want to consult a licensed health professional to provide treatment.
  • This website's goal is to help people understand more about true health.
  • You should always be aware of the dangers of taking over-the-counter medications, prescription drugs and even large amounts of vitamins, minerals, herbs and other natural substances.

·         Eyes on the sclera

·         Besides the equation, there are some additions in RBTI to see the picture. Sclerology is one of them. Many nowadays know that it should only be used to see if the body is cooperating or not. But if so,...

RBTI Sclerology

While learning RBTI, one will surely come acros the term sclerology. It is one of the many best practices Dr. Reams used (for a while) besides the RBTI equation. It is a non-invasive test based on looking at the lines on the white of the eyes. Before modern sclerology was founded Dr. Reams founded his version based on logics, math and the anotomy. The idea to implement something like this was well ahead of it's time. Dr. Reams plotted a chart of the sclera and put in the eye numbers so it would be easy to use. It is reported by some of his students that later he kind of abandoned it and said he only emphasized the use of it for heart problems. We have also a number of reports that he claimed it should only be used for seeing the progress, nothing else.

But it is a part of the teachings of Dr. Reams, so without making any claims about it's accuracy or inaccuracy, here are the eye numbers based on the latest sclera chart we have:

The basics

http://www.rbti.info/basics/about

chalkboard with RBTI basics and the equation writen on itHere we offer a short but comprehensive introduction for anyone wanting to scratch the surface of RBTI. It is not an encyclopedic tutorial for consultants nor is it simplified to the point of not having to think for yourself. Some of these concepts may seem fairly obscure, but we did our best to make them accessible to a wider audience.

You will learn what the test values indicate, how to test them, how they are related to your health, and how they relate to each other. We feel that learning about the numbers in that order will make the most intuitive sense.

After going over the basics you should be able to complete the test and have a general idea about what everything means. There is also information on what to look for if you start to test yourself regularly. This material should make you feel a bit more confident and comfortable with the procedure, but we also explain how working with a consultant can provide more insight into your numbers.

Keep in mind that interpreting the numbers is an extensive process. This is not an exhaustive study, so if you are serious about improving your health, please consider buying Dr. AF. Beddoe's book Biological Ionization as Applied to Human Nutrition.

Hopefully we will have started you on a beautiful path to a better and healthier lifestyle.

Please continue by selecting ‘Common Sense’ in the side menu.

Beyond the basics

http://www.rbti.info/beyond-the-basics

beyond the basicsIn the basics we went over the real basics of RBTI, one part of the equation at a time and ended up with the same thing we started with: Common Sense. Everyone with Common Sense should know they have to drink enough pure and clean water, breath clean and fresh air and take mineral dense foods in a form the body can bind it in our cells. I do not think anyone with common sense will swallow a spoon, bolt or any other metallic object to balance their iron needs.

But nowadays things are a bit more difficult. Foods in the supermarkets are grown for a price per kilo, not for quality. Rain used to be a good source of clean water, while it nowadays is polluted. Air used to be fresh, nowadays that is not always the case. How do we deal with that in RBTI?

Some grow their own foods and test it for nutrient density using the same test-kit as we do for our own health in RBTI. Some live in a country where they can't get the UREA chemicals and need help with that. We try to share as much knowledge as we can, but we also try to share the knowledge others want to share with us and with you.

At this time this section is limited but in time it will grow to be knowledge base that truly is beyond the basics of RBTI.

Lemon water

http://www.rbti.info/foods/lemon-water

fresh lemonsLemon water is one of the most important fluids RBTI practitioners use to use to help the body regain health. It consists of 10 % fresh lemon juice and 90% distilled water. Lemons provide the best building blocks for the liver to help create enzymes and amino acids for new cells, as well as aid in the pickup of the proper calciums, but also helps a bit to regulate the blood sugars and the oxygen levels in the blood. When the body has enough enzymes, it will have a stronger method of selecting the proper calciums from the ones available in the nutrition and the chemistry starts correcting itself.

The liver can take lemon juice when it is taken systematically and in not too large amounts and convert it into enzymes. Then the body begins to take on more calciums and corrects these conditions.

Lemon water is usually combined with distilled water, according to the UREA and conductivity values of the RBTI test. However, if the UREA and the conductivity in the RBTI test are too high, the blood has a harder time transporting the nutrients and the building blocks for the new cells and the debris of the cells that are exchanged. Therefore it may be wise to lower the conductivity and UREA using only distilled water before starting the lemon water routine.

When starting on either distilled water or the lemon water routine in RBTI, it is important to keep the conductivity to Brix ratio in mind. It should be between 4 and 5. If not it is usually better to sweeten the lemon water as it is to sweeten the distilled water. Use preferably seven different sweeteners; one for each day of the week. That will prevent you from forming an intolerance to one of them. However, you should also check the Brix in order to see if the sweetener has successfully elevated the Brix. If not, or if it went up too much, use a different one. Consider adding a bit of fruit juice, honey, corn syrup, coconut or palm sugar, agave syrup, date sugar, rice syrup, maple syrup, and blackstrap molasses if you can stand the salty taste. If none of them work consider fructose.
Usually a person requires more sweetener in the afternoon as in the morning.

When first on lemon water the albumin can go up quite a bit because more cells will be replaced when the body has more building blocks. More new cells means that more old and worn out ones, and / or cells of lower quality will be broken down. And after the kidneys throw these parts out, they will stick together causing part of the tiny particles in the urine we call albumin or cell debris.

But it is also fun to see what NON-RBTI people find out. Obviously we do not claim lemon juice or any other substance can replace medicine, as we do not practice medicine. We practice health.

TIDBITS

Sir Peter Bonnell CJSJ

Bringing you the TRUTH since 1982

Cancer and Lemon Juice

Some years ago someone sent me a Reference Manual entitled "Biological Theory of Ionization" by Dr. Carey A. Reams. In it, Reams said, "lemon juice is the only anionic substance, the only natural hydrochloric acid on earth, that I know of".

He further went on to explain: "it's anionic, electrons travel clockwise, all food we eat are cationic with the exception of lemon and if there is another I never found it, when it goes into the system it can be converted into some 6 billion different enzymes with less chemical change than any other natural substance known to man".

Lemon juicetaken with water he claimed-- "taken periodically helps the liver. It takes 18 hours to form an amino acid in your body, that's one of the reasons you need that small little shot of lemon juice, for your liver, spread throughout the day. Lemon juice is nothing more than dilute hydrochloric acid".

Not being a Biochemist I could not grasp what was being stated, but I remembered reading another book where the author claimed lemon juice could help cure cancer.

Back in the late "70's" while playing golf with my best friend Dr. Arnaldo Abreu, who was a Urologist/Surgeon. in Akron, OH, he told me of a patient that was very poor and had no way to get to Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. The man had to fill out forms and then would have to go back for final testing before surgery. He mentioned that the man had a large tumor in his bladder that was malignant.

I told my friend of what I had read about lemon juice and cancer. I also told him that I would take the day off to drive his patient to Cleveland.(My Order of Knighthood is both a Military and Hospital Order (our motto -"My Lords the Sick").

Doc said lemon juice couldn't hurt him and maybe I should mention it to him.

As it turned out the man was Joe Beck, a clothing salesman who worked at a store where I previously made purchases.

Joe was tearful on the way to Cleveland and explained all he had in life was a girlfriend and he couldn't very well make love to her with a bag hanging out of his side and he would probably lose her because of his condition.

I mentioned what I had read about lemon juice.

Joe was Jewish, but I suggested he might try praying to Jesus for help also.

We stopped on the way and I bought him some lemons.

Joe filled out the necessary forms in Cleveland; I waited for him and took him back to Akron

He lived at the Anthony Wayne Hotel (that was a flophouse) He said he had no food or money, I gave him $100.00 and told him I would call the Jewish relief organizations to help him.

He said "it wouldn't do any good, all they did was collect money but gave no help".

When I got home I called three of them listed in the phone book, two had no answer and only one had an answering machine that only made a statement of where to send donations.

I called "Lady of the Elms" a Catholic girls school and charity in Akron and explained to the Mother Superior the problem. She assured me she would help the man.

My girl friend and I packed up several boxes of canned good from my cupboards and stopped to buy some fresh fruit and vegetables (Joe said he had a 2-burner hotplate in his room that he cooked on).

When we arrived at Joe's, some two hours later. His small room was piled with about ten cartons of canned food that had already been delivered by "Lady of the Elms".

Dr. Abreu's secretary took Joe back to be admitted the following weekend. as I had a previous appointment I could not break.

On Wednesday, I picked Joe up from Case Western Reserve and when he came out to the car he was "all smiles". He got in the car, grabbed my hand, kissed it and said through his tears "he was going to become a Christian"

He told me the Physician in charge of the testing said "it was like a miracle, the center of the tumor appeared to have been burned out and it was benign".

Last winter (1999) I wanted to buy a "Chesterfield" overcoat. I went to the store in Akron where Joe had worked. While talking to the owner, I asked him if Joe had ever had a reoccurrence of the cancer. He said "no" and I asked, "what ever happened to Joe". He said 'he died of A HEART ATTACK TWO YEARS AGO".

Another friend of mine, a policeman, had facial cancer. I told him about the lemon juice theory" and to mention it to his doctor.

He started eating lemons; he told me he ate the whole lemon skin and all;

that's the way he liked them.

About two months later, I saw him and he said his cancer "was in remission", two years later it still was.

No No foods

http://www.rbti.info/foods/no-no-foods

no-no foods on stop signNo-no foods according to RBTI are foods that are not recommended because they harm the stability of a person’s chemistry. After testing hundreds if not thousands of individuals Dr. Reams found out that just about everyone responded bad on certain types of foods. They are what some call the no-no’s.

We have found that most teachers who do have a no-no list have one that is much different from the original Reams used. We believe the reason behind this is that whole concept of no-no’s. Some believe that if they found out that the sea-salt Reams tested (with 7 minerals) was not healthy, we should not bother looking at unrefined sea salts (with 80+ minerals) and just put all seasalts on the no-no list. Many have put things on the list since Dr. Reams was against taking the products as foods while starting on the program, like chocolate and for many whole milk. Others excluded whole milk from the no-no’s for persons with a very low Brix and have good results wit that.

Now who to follow? Let’s first look at a few of the rules that are considered the cornerstones by some:

“If you destroy the numbers it will take six days to rebuild” This simply means that if you take a food that causes a chemical imbalance, you can see it in the numbers from two days later till six days later. The reason you can’t see it immediately is that the body needs some time to adjust the balance and thus it will take some time for it to show up in the numbers. After six days the body has rebalanced itself and will be almost back to where it was, not counting influence from other diet changes or no-no foods.

“The more strict you are to the diet, the better your health will become.” And  “If your mineral reserve is high, you can eat almost anything”. Now, most doing RBTI will say that you can only do RBTI all the way, or not at all. There is truth in that, but half the truth is worse than a whole lie. Here is what I personally believe:
The lower your reserve energy, the stricter you need to be with your diet.
Any positive change in the numbers you make AND KEEP to your diet will increase your reserve energy.

Doing a complete RBTI test will get you an accurate view on a person’s health, and if a consultant truly understands RBTI and the client is strict about the diet and supplements, health will always improve, as long as the client is not beyond the point of no return (4% reserve energy), has no brain tumour and the nerve system is intact.
However, even without a complete RBTI test, if the numbers talk to you, you will start seeing things on a person: their complaints, their diet, their mood will all be pieces of a very complex puzzle. Dr. Reams even looked on how deep a person’s wrinkles were. Even an incomplete test will give you important parts of the puzzle. But since the test is relative inexpensive and non-invasive, we believe you should always run a complete RBTI test.

But if one should not believe that and would leave everything RBTI has to offer, but will start drinking the right amount of the right water, one would do great things for one’s health.

But the most important rule of all: “ALWAYS GO BY THE NUMBERS”, complemented with “why guess when you can be sure”, tells you what RBTI testing and interpreting is all about. If you see that someone has taken something they should not have taken, say a no-no, that will usually cause a drop in the urine pH after one day. At day three the Urine pH will be on it’s way to restoration, but while so, the saliva pH will start to drop. Usually at day five you will only see a low saliva pH, because the urine pH is restored and shortly after the saliva pH will restore two, if no other polluting foods are taken.

So as anyone should understand by now: if you take something and the numbers showed a drop in energy, you were taking something that you should better not take for a while. Does it truly matter if it is on our no-no list? What if you are just allergic to it? In both cases, try to figure out what it was and avoid it.

Now, to continue with our list of the no-no foods.

Please note that if we list a food, we also mean everything containing that food. Please don’t contact us with questions like ‘If pork is a no-no, am I allowed to take bacon, ham, sausages, ribs, etc. from pork’, because even traces of pork-juice can cause imbalance in the numbers.

So as for the meats and fish:
Pork, rabbit, squirrel, horse, mule, bear duck or goose.
Skin fish (fish without scales), shell fish such as catfish, shrimp, lobster, turtle, snake, eel, lizard, etc.

As always I will try to make some sense on why. Normal foods take about 18 hours to completely release all available energy. Some of these meats release their energy in the human digestive track in about 3 hours. That is like putting rocket fuel in your car!

Some call them unclean meats, and I personally have not found a better name, despite that I believe it is kind of wrong:
The animals may be clean, the meats may be clean and even very nutritious for some species, but they pollute the chemical balance in the human body. The way the body will compensate is by releasing minerals especially calciums that it worked hard to bind in the body. But doing just that will bring back the required balance.

Potatoes are a bit more difficult, even though they were not on Dr. Reams' list and it is technically incorrect, we do consider them a no-no.
Some say all potatoes are no-no’s, others say all white-skinned ones are. And yet others claim we should only not take white potatoes if our sugars are high, because the starches are quickly converted into sugars. Dr. Reams did take potatoes. About 3 kg (6 pounds) per year for his whole family and used it mostly to thicken soup. Most have abused that enought to skip potatoes for a lifetime. We know it contains vitamins, but it hardly contains any minerals that can be absorbed by our bodies. So best thing I believe is to limit the amount and stick to the red-skinned ones and the sweet potatoes.

Chocolate is very hard on the kidneys and therefore an no-no while healing. If the body is in good shape, it will not be considered a no-no by us. The kidneys have a hard time after consuming chocolate, but in lesser degree even with black tea, it will prioritize and therefore not get rid of all the things it should. hope you can see that this will not help while healing.

Black tea as mentioned in the previous section, green teas are ok, herb teas without black teas in it as usually ok.

People with tendency to high blood sugar should also include the following, because it will either cause the blood sugars to be even higher, or cause the extra sugars to be converted into body-alcohol which may result in unwanted calcium accumulation in the liver:
Wheat (including bread, spaghetti, crackers, etc.), alcohol, whole milk, carrot juice and potatoes.

People with a tendency to low blood sugar should include the coffee and comfrey, or at least limit the intake, since these comfrey cause a decrease in blood sugars and / or body-alcohol, coffee causes the alcohol levels to drop, causing problems with persona with tendency to low blood sugars.

For those with high UREA’s, they should include the following on the no-no list, since that will upset the protein balance a bit more:
Popcorn, butter, beans and peas, salt (including unrefined and Hawaiian)  and black pepper.

Refined sea salt. The refinement process takes out the minerals needed to bind the salts in the correct way, upsetting the system. Refined sea salt seems to have this affect stronger as ordinary kitchen salt, making all salts a do-not-abuse food, but refined sea salt a no-no.

According to many nuts are a no-no food. The group nuts and seed provides a very excellent source of protein and minerals if prepared properly. It is best to use these nuts and seeds either boiled, steamed until soft, or baked in bread or casseroles.

Refined sugars, and most sugar you can buy in the supermarket is refined: it was taken from plants and the minerals needed to make the energy usable were taken out. One of the disadvantages is that the body has a much harder time in dealing with it and uses up a lot of minerals. If the body is not able to handle the sugars because of a shortage in minerals, or for an other reason, it will convert it and store it in specific cells, the so called fat cells.

Rob Owen's transcripts

http://www.rbti.info/rob-owens-transcripts/beyond-the-basics/reviews/rob-owens-transcripts

During his many years of studying RBTI, Rob transcribed one serie of sessions I / V that Reams gave. The fun part is that Reams did not have a very fixed focus, so every series of sessions was different from the other. Anyone who gave the Killian files a go knows that transcribing requires a lot of patience and to do it right requires understanding of the materials. One example a member gave me was a miscommunication in the Killian files, where a student meant to ask one thing, and Dr. Reams understood it differently. Those things don't make sense if you can't put it in the right perspective.
In his materials Rob also takes things a bit lightly. I would more see it as a loose summary of the sessions than as true transcripts. The question is if that is bad. I think not. I believe it will help most much more to have the mistakes and unclear parts filtered out than reading every 'What?', 'Ehhm' and 'Now,...'

transcriptsThe materials provided are in my view impressive and well worth the money for most who are looking for the next step after Beddoe's book. Some even state that they only need this, not Dr. Beddoe's big book. I can understand that.
In total the PDF has 813 pages and is little over 5 MB. It does not contain DRM, so unlike some other digital books, it can be used on your phone, I-Pad, E-reader etc. But that comes at a price: we know some got a 'free' copy from someone who bought it. Please take in consideration the amount of time put in to this and buy it.

The table of contents states:
Part 1 - The Equation
Part 2 - Sugars or Carbohydrates
Part 3 - pH - Urine and Saliva
Part 4 - Salts
Part 5 - Albumin or Debris
Part 6 - Ureas - Nitrate Nitrogen & Ammonical Nitrogen
Part 7 - Conduct of the Urine & Saliva Analysis
Part 8 - A Short Course in Chemistry
Part 9 - General Information – Alphabetical Listings
Part 10 - Stories and Illustrations.
Part 11 - Daily Devotions
Part 12 - Rules
Part 13 - Number Interpretations
Part 14 - Course Student Card Readings by Carey Reams
Part 15 - Memory Training
Part 16 - Logarithms
Part 17 - Business Practice
Part 18 - Establishment of a Management Committee (not for release at this time)
Part 19 - A Selection of "True Health Solutions" Client Handout Material (not for release at this time)

The pdf is not properly indexed, and does not contain links to the chapters. But looking at the index and the number of pages it is easy to get the wrong impression. The first 6 parts, including the not listed disclaimer, index, general introduction and front page are 61 pages and read quite easily. There are some double explanations in there, but that is fine by me, since it serves a purpose.
Part 7 is just 7 pages. So far it is valuable, but not worth the money. The real thing that makes it justify it's price is the 9th part: just about 470 pages of alphabetically listed words explained in the sessions. Please don't expect a how-to-treat, since many are helpful anekdotes and stories. But if you have the basic knowledge, it will help to see the whole picture

One other nice thing about it is that is gives an indication on who the person behind the name was. But to add a true layer of understanding to that, one would be better of listening to the (almost inaudible in some cases) audio files.

Personally I encourage anyone who wants to study RBTI further to buy this and take the time to work through it.
At this moment the materials are world-wide sold through the Wideturn website. There is also a 30 page preview for download available there.
